There is more to music than just teaching and performing. Many people believe that when a person says they want to be, or are a musician, that you can’t make any money at it, and disregard it as not worthy to pursue.
There are plenty of things to do in the music. The beginning of this series will start with the Music Industry. The music industry, simply is vast. It includes publishing, recording, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, importing, exporting, repair and rebuilding, tuning, and many more other businesses. Those who are successful in the music industry are educated and trained in music and business. Computers, and state-of-the-art technology have created many more brand new businesses that are very lucrative.

Education
A college degree is not necessary, but advised. You can find Music Industry as a major in some colleges and university’s. For technical careers, you will need up to three years in training. The best education is world experience. Finding music businesses where you live, you can ask the owners if you can work for free to gain the skills that you need. That will make it easier for you in college, and fill your music resume when you go to get employment.
Internships
If you are unable to work in any music businesses, or if there is a lack of them where you live, you can always do an internship. Generally, most internships do not pay you. There are a few that will. Here are a few music internships.
